Archtober 2019: New York City’s Architecture & Design Month Is On

Archtober, the annual month-long celebration of architecture and design in New York City that runs through the month of October, has expanded its program this year with new partnerships that include NYC’s public library system and weekend getaway partners.

The festival, now in its ninth year, brings together more than 80 partners throughout the city’s five boroughs to celebrate the importance of design and the built environment.

The American Institute of Architects New York Chapter and the Center for Architecture have announced more than 100 tours, lectures, films and celebrations, offering behind-the-scenes peeks at the buildings that give this metropolis its distinct character.
