The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has approved a new agreement with JFK Millennium Partners (JMP) to build a new $3.9 billion Terminal 6 at JFK International Airport. The new Terminal will connect to and expand JetBlue's operations at Terminal 5.
The project was originally set to break ground in 2020, but was put in limbo due to the pandemic. The 1.2-million-square-foot facility is scheduled to break ground next year.
The Port Authority says the development of the new terminal is expected to result in more than 4,000 jobs.
